In the cinematic masterpiece "Belly" there's an exchange as follows between Sincere (played by Nas) and Buns (played by DMX).

Sincere: When's the last time you read anything?

Buns: Never motherfucker.

Since we're not professional crackheads we should take advantage of books and read and discuss some particularly noteworthy ones.

Our first book is going to be Nate Silver's "The Signal and the Noise".

Today is October 4th, let's meet back next Monday the 8th Tuesday the 9th and talk about the introduction and section 1. "A Catastrophic Failure of Prediction".
