Game Open Thread: not-Kessel's team @ not-Seguin's team

James Reimer is going to put 'that game' behind him.

This is OK, I guess. Hugging Species is so much nicer.

Wrong soup: Stanley Cup of Chowder

You know Glenn Healy has been excited all day about mentioning a certain game tonight, so I might as well get it out of the way.

James Reimer is on a fucking fantastic run right now as the Leafs starting goaltender, which I predicted he would be. He's now up to a season SV% of 0.933. Various parsing of The Leagues' even-strength goalie stats put him in the company of Henrik Lundqvist so far this season.

But no matter what happens, Reimer will always be linked to 'that game'.

Tonight, on a back-to-back no less, he has a real chance to bury that forever. Do you believe in James Reimer?

I believe in James Reimer.

What's on Later?

Of the eleven games tonight, ten start at 7 or 8pm EST. There's only one late game, starting at 10pm, Blackhawks @ Canucks. Given the history between these teams it should be really fun.
