The joy and sorrow of a rebuilding team.

Bruce Fedyck-USA TODAY Sports

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."

-- Sun Tzu, The Art of War

What exactly is interference? Last night we had a mini-debate in the FTB after a goal by Spaling was waved off for goalie interference. Unlike the very technical offside review, this review is subjective, and the review plays out to fans with little or no comment by the NHL officials whom are not even present at the game anyway. The Leafs weren't the only ones to lose out on a goal for interference last night.
