[Sunday's FTB]: Quebec at Oshawa

New, comments

If the other team kills off a 5-on-3, they're probably going to win it.

Poor Rimouski. It seemed like such a close game, with the lead given up every other moment, but in the end the Generals' Hunter Smith redeemed himself for giving up the tying goal (scored while he was in the penalty box) by netting the game-winner.

Junior hockey sure is fun, and kind of reminds me of this round of the playoffs -- what happened to all the 2-1 games? I guess this is what happens when the goaltenders and all the D get exhausted. (And thank you, Western Conference, for playing the equivalent of two games for every one. Wear each other out, yesssssss.)

And now we have some links.

Why is the Macon, Georgia newspaper reporting on the Memorial Cup? Is it due to Shannon Szabados making hockey popular in the US South, or is it a slow news day up thar in Macon?

A: They both look good until they hit the ice!

I am usually OK at keeping my partisanship under control, but not after attending this last game. WIN IT, BOLTS.
