Leafs would have seen plenty of Kaskisuo the past 2 years watching draft picks Toninato and Cameranesi at Minn-Duluth. #TMLtalk

He was a tandem with Joonas Korpisalo along with Kevin Lankinen in Jokerit U20 in 12/13. Korpisalo was drafted, stayed in the Jokerit system and our guy went to school here--smart move obviously.
Some of Kaskisuo's excellent saves are on display in the game recap for UMD vs. Providence, where they won 2-1 to advance to the Northeast Regional Final.
Kaskisuo will join the Toronto Marlies on an ATO for the rest of the regular season.
