The Detroit Redwings come to town looking to stay alive in the playoff picture. The Maple Leafs are mostly playing for jobs next season, and kicking a division rival while their struggling is just an added bonus

The Detroit Redwings much heralded 24 seasons playoff streak is on the brink of ending, and pause as I sarcastically wipe away a tear, so the Maple Leafs must do all they can to help keep them from hitting 25.

The Maple Leafs are still loaded with Marlies, the most recent addition being Frederik Gauthier, coming up today as Milan Michalek has been shut down for the season with a knee injury.

What do you say to preview a team at the bottom of the standings? All we want to see is great play from the kids on the Leafs. Some of us want to see a win, if you're looking to play the spoiler, some want to see a loss, if you want to ensure a bottom 3 placement.
