Oh, also your tweet has a typo, Maple Leafs

It's the 99th season, not 100th. Remember that season YOU CANCELLED?!

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced their schedule for the franchise’s 100th season, with this year’s campaign commencing in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 12 before the team holds its home opener at Air Canada Centre against Boston on Saturday, October 15.

The Maple Leafs will host the first-ever NHL Centennial Classic™, an outdoor regular-season game at BMO Field in Toronto, against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, January 1.

The Maple Leafs also announced today that the hockey club will return to Halifax, Nova Scotia to begin its 2016 training camp and host a preseason game at Scotiabank Centre. The Maple Leafs will play eight preseason games in total, with their other three home games taking place in St. Catharines, Toronto and Hamilton.

Further details, including additional plans for the 100th season, single-game ticket availability, broadcast information, and the training camp schedule will be released at a later date.
