From the Branches: Tomas Kaberle really loves Toronto

You guys. Tomas Kaberle really loves Toronto.

I don’t know about you but this entire story made me happy. I love Tomas Kaberle and his adorable rosy cheeks. “"This is going to be my home," says Kaberle.” Be still, my heart.

Also important: he “beamed” when talking about how good Nazem Kadri is. What a great guy.

Did you see the two brutal injury pictures that made the rounds yesterday? I like you too much to embed them here but Victor Hedman nearly lost an eye after his visor broke at the World Championshpis. Also Alex Ovechkin’s leg doesn’t look so good. Click at your own risk.

Game 1 happened last night. I can’t tell you who won because I’ll be asleep by the time it’s over. I’m sure it was good, though.
