Start preparing your hottest of takes and practice your outrage!

This coming Monday, PPP will be starting the annual tradition of spending far too much time thinking and arguing about what prospect might have a slightly better chance at making the NHL than some others. I mean sure, we do include some guys who are already NHLers, but we all know that our favourite parts are arguing over rankings in the 25 to 15ish range.

Believe me when I say that the masthead has already started the fighting amongst each other. Myself? I am outraged at the lack of voting for the Leafs’ third round pick (well, the 2nd third round pick) Riley Stotts, which I will write about sometime next week.

Until then? Let’s all predict when the Leafs will sign William Nylander to an extension. Knowing Dubas he will do it in a way that will overshadow some other hockey or sports news, and I honestly thought it would happen the same day as the Raptors big trade.

Now I’m worried he and the MLSE staff who read PPP are waiting for us to start our T25U25 and announce it when we release our article on Willy. Guesstimating when that will be, I’ll say around August 16th.
