Hey, what does FTB stand for again?

That’s right:

FUCK THE BRUINS!!!

Yesterday’s Games

Tampa Bay Lightning 3, Boston Bruins 2 (2OT) — TBL wins series 4-1
Ah, it still feels so good. The Tampa Bay Lightning used goals from Ondrej Palat, Anthony Cirelli, and Victor Hedman to defeat the Bruins in five games. Andrei Vasilevskiy was .936 in the series. [Recap]

Colorado Avalanche 6, Dallas Stars 3 — DAL leads series 3-2
With both Pavel Francouz and Philipp Grubauer out with injuries, Michael Hutchinson got the start in Game 5 for the Colorado Avalanche. The Avs decided to start the game by spotting Hutchinson five goals before the Stars can hit four shots. Maybe we shouldn’t have traded for Calle Rosen? [Recap]

Today’s Games

New York Islanders “@” Philadelphia Flyers — NYI leads 3-1
7pm ET — CBC, NBCSN, TVAS

Vancouver Canucks “@” Vegas Golden Knights — VGK leads 3-1
9:45pm ET — CBC, SN, NBCSN, TVAS

The second round could be done tonight. Apparently, if the Islanders win their series tonight, they could start the Eastern Conference Finals against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Toronto while the Western Conference finishes the second round. This happened two weeks ago when Colorado and Dallas started their series on Saturday, August 22nd while the rest of the playoffs began on the Monday.

Should the Leafs trade Frederik Andersen? — Katya

I doubt the Winnipeg Jets are trading Patrik Laine, but I would be really interested in Nikolaj Ehlers if they want to go down that road.

With Alexis Lafreniere on the horizon, the New York Rangers have signed Jacques Martin as an assistant coach.
