So the Leafs lost in Buffalo once again last night, failing to give much support in front of young goalie [James Reimer](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54304/james-reimer?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). The Buds have now lost 7 straight at HSBC Arena. During the second intermission in an otherwise dreadful game came the news from Pierre LeBrun that interest in [Francois Beauchemin](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54518/francois-beauchemin?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) and [Kris Versteeg](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/56131/kris-versteeg?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) has increased significantly. LeBrun even went so far as to say the two will likely be dealt. And while a deal involving [Tomas Kaberle](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54289/tomas-kaberle?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) seems unlikely, LeBrun [noted in his blog](http://espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/%5F/id/4377/weekend-wrap-trade-talk-heats-up-jagr-up-for-nhl-return-heritage-sponsorship-strong?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) for ESPN that the Bruins, Habs, and Rangers all have an interest in acquiring #15\. Nothing is written in stone and no moves have been made, but the chatter over the past few weeks indicates that Burke may be ready to take the Leafs in a different direction. The next 22 days should be interesting.
