# Checking in with the Leafs' Matt Martin and his Lou-approved do

According to Arthur Staple, [Matt Martin](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/85940/matt-martin?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is working out on Long Island with his old friends.

And they're still working on keeping him humble.

He didn't rush to move more than his hair style into the Leafs' orbit because he had business on the Island. He had a kids' hockey clinic to attend. Which is the normal sort of business he gets up to.
