# Connor Carrick is trying to get into Pavel Datsyuk's skill development camp

[Connor Carrick's](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/157299/connor-carrick?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) NHL career is still just getting started. Sure, he's been in professional hockey for three seasons now - which isn't that long, even though he's already played for four teams over that time - but there's always going to be room for him to grow and improve. Fifty-three NHL games at his age is pretty impressive, but learning to be more productive at the highest level will be beneficial for both him and the [Toronto Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com).

The off-season is a good time to seek ways to improve. And it looks like Carrick is pulling out all the stops:

Wouldn't we all love to go to a skill development camp run by Pavel Datsyuk? Is there anyone better in the world to learn pure skills from?
