Tell me if you've seen *this* sequence of events before:

The line of [Mikhail Grabovski](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54327/mikhail-grabovski?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Nikolai Kulemin](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54310/nikolai-kulemin?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and [Clarke MacArthur](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55209/clar%3Cmce:script%20type=?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) was the only one to score.

[Luke Schenn](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54281/luke-schenn?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is good at things like hockey.

[Phil Kessel](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54905/phil-kessel?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) was stymied by a Bruins' goaltender.

[Tuukka Rask](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54880/tuukka-rask?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) was good.

Less than four goals were scored in the game ([a Skinnyfish prediction](http://theleafsnation.com/2011/1/3/leafs-vs-bruins-im-watching-the-wjc?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)), and the Leafs failed to capitalize on defensive lapses by the B's.

Leafs lose a yawner.

Folks talk about giving up draft picks.

Sigh. [From Jonas Siegel](http://www.640toronto.com/Blogs/EatSleepLeafs/BlogEntry.aspx?BlogEntryID=10187197&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com):

> "He had a lot of jump," said **[Tyler Bozak](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71017/tyler-bozak?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)** of Kessel, who directed fifteen shots at the net**.** "Right off the bat there he had a lot of scoring chances, seems to not go in for him too often against these guys. He’s always getting the chances \[and\] against a lot of other teams a lot of those chances go in.
>
> "He’s just a little snake-bitten against these guys."

Copy, paste. Copy, paste. Copy, paste. Copy, paste. Copy, paste.

One thing you may not have seen a million times already: [James Reimer](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54304/james-reimer?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) looked good in his second start.

The original article is from Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun, but I think a number of folks around here are still frowny with that newspaper, so I've just linked to the Kukla's Korner summary.

Mirtle is puzzled by Wilson's annoyance with the media.

Michale Langlois over at VLM with a few thoughts on the Bruins game, as well as some thoughts on the re-modeling of the Leafs.

If you happen to be some kind of amphibious or rodent-like creature that has been hiding under a rock for the past 24 hours, you should be aware that a bunch of teenagers from Canada beat a bunch of teenagers from the United States of America rather handily at the game of ice hockey. Of course, amphibians and reptiles north of the border simply call it 'hockey'.
