The CWHL goes for their third annual All-Star Game at the ACC at 1:30 pm on Saturday. Team White will be captained by Furies rookie defender Carlee Campbell, while Team Blue will be co-captained by Inferno defender Meaghan Mikkelson and Furies captain Natalie Spooner due to an unprecedented tie in fan voting.

Captains will pick their teams tonight during the Frozen Fantasy Draft at the Hilton Toronto. Captains will take turns drafting their first five players. The names of the remaining players will be printed on mini-sticks, which the captains will then pick at random to fill out their rosters. As winner of the captain’s vote with 2088 votes, Carlee Campbell will have first pick. Our own Species will live-tweet the event at PPPLeafs.

New for the 2017 All-Star Game, the teams will be coached by CWHL alumnae. The team captains will choose two coaches each from among four former players: Tessa Bonhomme (Toronto Furies), Lisa-Marie Breton-LeBreux (Montreal Stars), Becky Kellar (Burlington Barracudas) and Cheryl Pounder (Mississauga Chiefs).
In total, eight Furies will be participating in the All-Star Game:
