It's been a long summer, and, sure, it's not quite yet over yet, but there's definitely hockey on the horizon. The [Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) rookie tournament will kick things off in a little over three weeks. The [World Cup of Hockey](http://www.sbnation.com/hockey-world-cup?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) will start the day after that, and the first NHL pre-season exhibition game is five weeks from today.
