Well here’s another one. But this piece of William Nylander opinionated speculation is a lot more pessimistic. Elliotte Friedman said some things on the future dynamic between the Leafs and Nylander.

That’s something many haven’t brought up as much, but it makes sense why it wouldn’t come up in the thought process. The player signs and then the player stays. However, you have to wonder what kind of affect these months of negotiations had on they dynamic between the two camps.
I don’t really care at this moment to be honest with you. As long as Nylander is signed by Saturday, I’ll be satisfied and we can deal with the possibility of a draft day trade once June comes around. What do you think though? Will the Leafs still entertain the idea of trading Nylander even if he is signed or is this just another chapter in the ‘Media Says Things About Nylander’ book?
