FTB: They play the Sabres again next week?

The Maple Leafs are trapped in a never ending Sabres nightmare.

It was so predictable the Sabres would win last night and they did. The Leafs even did Jack Eichel the favour of busting his recent goalless streak.

At least the Leafs don’t have to play Buffalo again this season.

The Leafs weren’t the only ones to lose to a team at the bottom of the standings last night. The Lightning lost to the Coyotes, and it has direct implications for the Leafs in the playoffs.

The Leafs next game is Wednesday against the Panthers at the ACC.
