With all this talk about Leafs who are under 25, it got us thinking about the best Leafs who are over 25. That was a fun discussion and then it hit me.

What about the guys who are right on the button?

Let’s check them out:

Josh Leivo - LW

The only one on the NHL roster last year, technically. Relegated to the press box so often he was hired by The Athletic, Leivo is a lock to make the team next year - or at least give us all something to talk about. Like “Did he run over Babcocks dog?”

Garret Sparks - G

Record setting AHL goalie who some want to crown the starer right now and trade away Frederik Andersen.

Which is insane, but there you go.

Igor Ozhiganov - D

Signed as a free agent over the summer Ozhiganov is a mystery wrapped in a riddle, coated in an ELC.
