The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that the Niagara Children’s Centre will be the beneficiary of the donations made at the training camp in Niagara Falls.

Several players visited the Centre during the Leafs’ 2017 training camp in Niagara Falls. The organization provides rehabilitation and support for more than 3,300 Niagara Region children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays.

“We feel honoured to have the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Niagara Children’s Centre with hockey fans in Niagara,” said the Centre’s CEO Oksana Fisher in a statement. “All donations made through the support of the training camp will be directed towards providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and recreational therapy to children living in Niagara.”
