Summer is officially here. Well, technically, it started on Saturday, but does anyone notice the passage of time in a linear way anymore? So we can say it starts today. In this new normal the NHL plans to have hockey this summer, but we still don’t have a timetable or definitive plans. For every step forward there has been a step back. Maybe this week they will finally figure it all out.

Or maybe they will take another step back again.

Report: All MLB clubs moving spring training camps to home cities - Sportsnet
In light of Friday's positive COVID-19 tests at some spring training facilities in Florida, all MLB clubs are moving training camps back to their home cities, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.

Other News

There’s some actual hard news about Maple Leafs players and prospects.

First, an update on Andreas Johnsson. This article is paywalled, but confirms that he is still in Sweden, and still doing rehab to recover from surgery. It certainly sounds like he’s still weeks away from playing.

Prospect Mikko Kokkonen has been added to the roster for the Finnish U20 camp.

That’s all for today. Our Top 25 Under 25 continues with #20 today.
