The evening opened with Chris Stewart scoring a backhand goal on a short breakaway, which was met with a Roman Polak goal after Bozak absolutely threads the needle on a pass. Bozak gets right back into the spotlight, getting in front of the net and going top corner on Neuvirth. Phaneuf had a really similar shot to Polak's, but on the opposite side of Neuvrith, that also put one on the board for the Leafs. The Sabres would stop the run as both Phaneuf and Granberg lose puck battles right in front of the net, which opens up a point-blank for Chris Stewart to score his second goal of the night. Komarov gained the zone and gained a goal, but the Sabres answered right back. Clarkson, who would go on to tip home a Polak wrist shot, fought Cody McCormick, I assume started because McCormick said something mean about a water bottle. Leivo tipped in a power play shot from Stuart Percy, and McCormick would score a blue-line garbage time goal. Your game in six and your links:
