The Leafs last game was away on February 28 against the New York Rangers, which Toronto won by a score of 3-2 in regulation. The Leafs have a record of 37-20-2 for a 0.644 Points %.

The Pittsburgh Penguins last played at home on March 1 against the Boston Bruins. The Penguins lost by a score of 3-2 in regulation, and their current league record is 24-29-9 for a 0.460 Points %.

### Them

The Penguins are definitely out of the playoffs, languishing down in the bottom of the Eastern Conference with the Buffalo Sabres. They are likely to trade some players in the coming days, but there's not a lot to choose from. 

The Penguins are the inverse of the Leafs. They have not bad Corsi and Expected Goals at five-on-five, but their goaltending is awful, their shooting percentage is worse, and their only strength – the power play – scores under expected. 

Joseph is out on defence, per Mike Sullivan.

The Leafs collected up some injuries in their last game and Max Domi, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Steven Lorentz are all game-time decisions.

From practice, subject to all those decisions noted above. Calle Järnkrok and Max Pacioretty filled in for the ??? spots, and both are on some form of IR.

### The Game

Don't take the Penguins too lightly. They are actually good at some things the Leafs struggle with, but Blomqvist is not a very seasoned goalie in the NHL.
