# GDT: Opening night in Montréal

To update the roster situation, as you may remember, the Leafs had enough LTIR pool that Connor Dewar was only on IR. 

Joe Woll has a cap hit of $766,667, Dennis Hildeby is at $843,333, meaning that in order to fit Hildeby on the roster cap wise, they needed Dewar on LTIR. And that was done today.

However, that didn't open up roster space, Hildeby put it to 24 men, so Joe Woll was put on IR today as well and the final LTIR pool open right now is $336,667, which is not enough for a player obviously. 

Joe Woll has to stay on IR for seven days, so there isn't going to be a miraculous recovery in time for tomorrow's game. 

Hopefully no one else gets hurt before then.
