The Leafs played the last game of their season tonight. It, like every game since February 6, was not pleasant to watch. The loss ties the Leafs' end-of-season points with the [Ducks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/anaheim-ducks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), but as regular-and-overtime wins are tied, and the Leafs only played one game against the Ducks, the -33 to -27 goal differential puts the Leafs' pick in 5 - lotto territory - while the Ducks will pick sixth. 

If you weren't planning it already, take this opportunity to watch some quality playoff hockey, but I should warn you: comparing playoff-teams' performance to recent Leaf play may induce serious bouts of depression, so make sure you don't think about that. Afterwards, feel free to strap yourself in for an entertaining and/or terrifying offseason. We've got the draft lotto and draft day itself to "look forwards" to, and with any luck, a Vintage Brian Burke-quality trade, without a Vintage Brian Burke-quality signing.
