Team USA announced today that [James van Riemsdyk](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/70845/james-van-riemsdyk?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) will be named to the U.S. [World Cup](http://www.sbnation.com/fifa-womens-world-cup?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) roster.

The 27-year old winger from Middleton, NJ will enter his fifth season with the Leafs in 2016-17\. He put up 14 goals and 29 points in an injury-shortened 40 game season.
