# Jimmy Vesey claimed by Vancouver on waivers

Yesterday, with a need for cap flexibility, Kyle Dubas put Jimmy Vesey on waivers. Today, the Vancouver Canucks have claimed Vesey. They’ve had a lot of forward injuries, is the only reason I can come up with.

In addition, the Leafs made these moves with both the NHL and AHL teams off until Friday:

Joe Woll was reassigned to the Marlies a day ago.
