Today's Noon Numbers takes a look at the Reign of Error of John S. Ferguson (Not Junior!). Steve Lansky thinks that [Leafs RAUP should show JFJ a little bit of gratitude](http://theleafsnation.com/2011/3/7/leafs-fans-owe-fergie-some-thanks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com):

Ferguson was widely vilified in the Leafs Nation. Maybe he deserved that send off. Maybe he didn’t. But, as the Leafs gear up for the final 16 games of the regular season – five points in arrears of eighth in the East – it’s worth remembering some of the better things Ferguson did for the Leafs.

Then again, it's only expected that he'd find *something* of value considering the amount of coal he sifted. Hell, four of them focused just on players no longer in the NHL at the time of writing. It is incredible how poorly he did with his free agent signings. However, on January 1, 2008 Ferguson made his final signing: a player out of the CIS powerhouse University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds and [a photoshop legend](http://www.pensionplanpuppets.com/2011/3/6/2032993/boycekick-photochops).

But yes, JFJ did leave the Maple Leafs with some gems:
