With the Marlies ready to hit the ice for warmups, came word that the [Leafs had traded James Reimer to the Sharks](https://www.pensionplanpuppets.com/james-reimer-traded-to-san-jose-sharks/). The return on that trade includes [Alex Stalock](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71062/alex-stalock?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) but he's nowhere near Toronto or Montréal where the Leafs are playing, so [Garret Sparks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/132408/garret-sparks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is on his way to back up [Jonathan Bernier](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54581/jonathan-bernier?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), the Leafs starter for the rest of the season--or at least this next game.
