Okay, this is getting a little more difficult if things don't start going in the direction with more games that have good results for the Leafs lottery standings. Here's you lottery chart for today.

| Team | Points | Odds at #1 |
| ---------------- | ------ | ---------- |
| Buffalo | 43 | 20% |
| Edmonton | 46 | 13.5% |
| Arizona | 49 | 11.5% |
| Carolina | 55 | 9.5% |
| Columbus | 56 | 8.5% |
| Toronto | 57 | 7.5% |
| New Jersey | 64 | 6.5% |
| Colorado /\\ | 67 | 6.0% |
| Ottawa /\\ | 67 | 5.0% |
| Philadelphia \\/ | 68 | 3.5% |
| Dallas | 68 | 3.0% |
| Florida | 69 | 2.5% |
| San Jose | 72 | 2.0% |
| Los Angeles | 72 | 1.0% |

Here are tonight's games:

**[Columbus Blue Jackets](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/columbus-blue-jackets?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at [New Jersey Devils](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/new-jersey-devils?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)**
**Best Result: Blue Jackets over Devils in overtime**
New Jersey is basically too far back to catch up to the Leafs, but giving them a point is still good since they area lottery team. Columbus getting 2 points will move the Leafs up to 5th in the lottery standings, adding an extra 1% to their odds of winning.

**[Minnesota Wild](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/minnesota-wild?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at [Carolina Hurricanes](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/carolina-hurricanes?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)**
**Best Result: Carolina over Minnesota in regulation**
Carolina getting 2 points ties them with the Leafs for 5th but they'll get the tie breaker having games in hand, but the Leafs have more Non-Shootout wins so if it comes down to it, the Leafs would beat Carolina. Minnesota not getting a point just keeps the Western WC race interesting

Those two games are really important, if they both happen as described it will help the Leafs odds immensely.

**[Buffalo Sabres](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/buffalo-sabres?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at [Ottawa Senators](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/ottawa-senators?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)**
**Best Result: Ottawa over Buffalo in regulation**
There is no way Toronto catches Buffalo for last. Not going to happen. Best result here is Ottawa gets 2 points, and stays at the low end of the lottery list. Buffalo not getting a point keeps a gap between them and Edmonton, and odds that Edmonton misses both McDavid and Eichel higher.

**[Calgary Flames](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/calgary-flames?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at Detroit Red Wings**
**No impact**
Two playoff teams fighting each other, I'll say the [Red Wings](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/detroit-red-wings?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) winning helps get them closer to the top of the league and knocking Nashville's pick down.

**[Edmonton Oilers](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/edmonton-oilers?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at [Chicago Blackhawks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/chicago-blackhawks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)**
**Best Result: Edmonton over Chicago**
Chicago is in the playoffs, and Edmonton getting two points edges them closer to 28th overall.

**[Pittsburgh Penguins](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/pittsburgh-penguins?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) at [Anaheim Ducks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/anaheim-ducks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)**
**Best Result: Anaheim over Pittsburgh**
Anaheim is two points up on the [Predators](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/nashville-predators?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) so giving them another 2 points keeps Nashville from winning the league and hopefully bumping down their pick a spot.

Hopefully we can see this in the morning
