God bless the [Vancouver Canucks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/vancouver-canucks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) and their playoff failure. Here I thought that the Pens - [Flyers](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/philadelphia-flyers?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) series was going to be the best story line of the first round. Instead, we all get to make riot jokes and laugh at funny Canucks golf logos. We may have even seen the last of the Green Men for the next five months -- although I myself never tire of seeing two grown men at a hockey game wearing what amounts to a skin tight lycra full-body condom (safety first, especially when dealing with Canucks fans).

Anywhoo...big cheers to the LA [Kings](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/los-angeles-kings?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) this morning. Hopefully they wrap this series up at Staples Center. Links after the jump.
