# Leafs Sign Tyler Bozak

If you're a PPP reader you're probably well aware that the Leafs signed [Tyler Bozak](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71017/tyler-bozak?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) to a two year deal at $1.5M per season by now but I'm contractually obligated to put this post up. Bozak's sophomore campaign didn't go as planned but neither did [Luke Schenn](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54281/luke-schenn?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)'s.

This season Bozak will be looked to as a depth player instead of the #1 pivot, and a third line center who scores 15 goals for $1.5M seems like a good addition to the team. Perhaps Toronto gets lucky and Bozak progresses this season into a strong two way center to give the Leafs some depth at the position.

He's a young kid who was asked to do too much: let's see what he does in the right role this season.
