# Maple Leafs 3 v. Hurricanes 0: James Reimer...Transform!

I followed this game on Twitter so I am going to share my impressions and then you lot can fill in the blanks:

1. [James Reimer](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54304/james-reimer?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is starting? Guess the Leafs are developing youth again.
2. Oh look, [Jay Rosehill](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/88646/jay-rosehill?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is pummelling Tim Gleason. Hope his knuckles aren't too bruised *Video Below*.
3. The Means of Production gives the Leafs the lead as [Clarke MacArthur](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55209/clarke-macarthur?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) scores on a long range shot. This is basically a macro now. 1-0 Leafs.
4. James Reimer takes a penalty in order to challenge himself.
5. [Mike Brown](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54463/mike-brown?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)'s new contract starts to pay off as [Tim Brent does his best Mike Brown impression](http://sports.nationalpost.com/2011/02/03/brents-blocks-highlight-best-sequence-of-leafs-season/?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). *Video Below.*
6. [Joni Pitkanen](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54251/joni-pitkanen?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) stinks. By contrast, [Darryl Boyce](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54316/darryl-boyce?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) is a wonderful human being. 2-0 Leafs.
7. James Reimer keeps stoning the Hurricanes because he thinks Toronto's a pretty great hockey market, thank you very much [Eric Staal](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54239/eric-staal?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com).
8. Oh, [Cam Ward](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54255/cam-ward?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) made a big save on [Tim Brent](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/56145/tim-brent?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)? That's because Brent's a good kid and didn't want to embarrass Staal for making a terrible 1st overall pick.
9. [Kris Versteeg](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/56131/kris-versteeg?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) feels no such compunction. Audi pots a third and his car is safe for one more night. 3-0 Leafs.
10. Was the shutout ever in doubt? Of course not. Optimus Reim racks up the first of what will hopefully be many shutouts with a 27 save performance.
11. Revenge is best served via flying fists and a comprehensive victory.
