# Maple Leafs cut a handful of players to Marlies camp

Today, the [Maple Leafs have announced some expected cuts to the roster](https://www.nhl.com/mapleleafs/news/maple-leafs-training-camp-roster-update-092519/c-309453014?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), sending some players to the Marlies camp which began yesterday.

Nicholas Baptiste, forward Colt Conrad, defenceman Joseph Duszak, defenceman Mac Hollowell, defenceman Jesper Lindgren and defenceman Kristians Rubins.

All players are either on AHL contracts or are waiver-exempt NHL-contracted players.

The NHL roster as it now stands is:
