A big, big, weekend for Maine hockey and [Nolan Vesey](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/246226/nolan-vesey?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) as they won their first game of the season this weekend, then another one! Vesey scored his first goal of the season as well. Their record is now 2-10! Go Black Bears! In other news Vermont has cancelled its hockey program out of shame.

Our top five as of last week's numbers are Marner, Timashov, Johnson, Piccinich, and Dzierkals. Also, this week Mitch Marner passed the two points per game mark with 2.05, and Andrew Nielsen passed one point per game, with 1.04\. Nolan Vesey got his first of the season, moving him up one spot to above Dakota Joshua in NHL points, as Hockey East is held slightly higher than the Big10 conference in NCAA. Poor Jesper Lindgren is still pointless since moving to the SHL from the U20 league.

**Tony Cameranesi** for nabbing 4 points in 2 games vs Colorado College.

**Bad Week:**  
The three European players who skated totaled for 2 points in 7 games this week.

**Dmytro Timashov** played well on Friday but didn't have a good game on Sunday.

Where have you gone **Nikita Korostelev?** Not a lot of points lately (he is just under a PPG, so he's not anywhere near bad), hopefully he gets things back on track and catches up with the rest of our forwards in the OHL.
