The Maple Leafs trade their pick #44 to Ottawa for pick #59 and #64.

The lower second round pick and the high third round pick will bring the Leafs an extra prospect and gives them a third-round pick, which they didn’t have before.

Detroit does the same thing, for a lesser return:
