After 16 goals and 28 assists in 18 games played, [Mitch Marner](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/257874/mitchell-marner?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) has been awarded the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as OHL Playoff MVP.

Marner was given the trophy after the London Knights defeated the Niagara IceDogs 1-0 to finish off the sweep in front of the IceDogs faithful.

Mitch Marner and fellow [Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) prospect JJ Piccinich will now head to the 98th Memorial Cup in Red Deer, Alberta to prove they are the best junior hockey team in Canada.
