# Monday's FTB: The Dog Days of Summer

The votes are closed on the T25, and the abacus got a workout tabulating the votes. The first post will be today, with the unranked and the honourable mentions, and #25 will go live on Wednesday.

We had several ties this year, more than I can ever recall, so we'll have some days with double posts between now and mid-September. 

In NHL news, the Stars signed Nathan Bastian to a minimum salary deal, and there have been no trades. 

The Leafs have not made the Kyle Clifford hiring announcement yet, so it's possible they've got other news to announce at the same time. We'll see if that comes out today.

The Hlinka Cup starts today.

A brief look at Maple Leafs news on the plethora of sites that have popped up to lure you in with enticing headlines and articles that are one tweet and some text shows every player not signed by the Leafs is someone they missed out on and every player speculated to be traded by any other team is a Leafs target. Which they will ultimately miss out on.
