Hello Leafs Nation and hockey fans in the United States and Newfoundland! The Stanley Cup Playoffs are about to begin! Even though the Leafs don’t play until tomorrow, this is still pretty exciting. The first round has lots of games every night and there’s always at least one that goes bonkers and produces a bizarre outcome. We may even get lucky and have a repeat of the insane 2012 Flyers-Penguins series.

If you are new to PPP, and PPP After Dark, here’s a brief explanation. This is an open group chat we will put up on each day without Leafs game. It’s a group chat about everything going on in the playoffs. Many games are scheduled simultaneously, so you can check in here on what people who are watching different games see happening.

We know many of you are participating in various brackets with a vested interest in the outcome of many games, while others are simply watching for fun. Whatever your case, this is an open chat. You can talk about anything you want, playoffs related or not. Feel free to update us on Raptors and Blue Jays games too. Share with us what new beer you are trying, or what (probably terrible) toppings you have chosen for your pizza. Feel free to post interesting GIFs or Tweets you see about the games on TV.

Most of all, have fun. These nights where the Leafs aren’t playing are the least nerve wracking, so enjoy yourself.
