# Panthers at Leafs: The Perfect Storm

This is a game that last years squadron would come out completely flat for. Failing that they'd take 50 shots on net and lose when [Vesa Toskala](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54305/vesa-toskala?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) let in a goal from the red line.

The last time [Scott Clemmensen](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54983/scott-clemmensen?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) played in the ACC was [March 23rd](http://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/201003230TOR.html?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com): a Tuesday night. The Leafs took 43 shots on net and scored once to give Clemmer a 0.977 SV% that night.

Per [Mirtle](http://twitter.com/mirtle/status/28708492775?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) the Leafs will start [Jean-Sebastien Giguere](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54527/jean-sebastien-giguere?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) in net. He had a shaky outing against Philadelphia but as he's a positional goaltender I doubt he forgot where to stand in the crease overnight. The season is early and Giguere is warming up and working through some early season rust. He's taking a lot of starts right now presumably as Francois Allaire looks to work with [Jonas Gustavsson](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/72169/jonas-gustavsson?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) on larger issues.

Do the Leafs break their skid tonight before heading to Boston? We can only hope: it will mean a lot to people who have watched this team since the lockout if the Leafs can come out firing on all cylinders tonight.
