The Chicago Blackhawks last played at home on December 13 against the Detroit Red Wings. The Blackhawks lost by a score of 4-0 in regulation, and their current league record is 13-13-6 for a 0.500 Points %.

### Them

Connor Bedard is out until some time in January in what is reported to be a separated shoulder. This is not from the team, it's Kevin Weekes giving out more information than the team wanted to. The timeline had already been disclosed.

Chicago is one of the worst teams in the NHL at five-on-five, but they have good goaltending and good shooting skill/luck. However, Bedard gets the bulk of their points, and with him out, Tyler Bertuzzi is clearly the best player on the team.

### The Game

The Leafs gave away a win in their last outing. Playing in a way that pretty much guaranteed the Oilers could put in one of their best performances of the year. It would be nice if they didn't do that again.
