### Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins
08:00 PM at TD Garden
Watch on: ABC, ESPN+, SN, CBC, TVAS

###

Game seven. You don't need an explanation for how that works.

### Them

They've got injuries too, not quite so meaningful as reliable hat trick scorers, though. They've got pressure from the press and David Pastrnak is hearing the "production" message. They're where the Leafs are and the Leafs are where they are.

### Us

Auston Matthews, finalist for the weird Lady Byng award which is just a strange combination of minutes played and penalties served, participated in morning skate for the first time since before he exited Game 4\.

> The Leafs did all they could this morning to keep some mystery about their Game 7 lineup — namely, whether Auston Matthews plays.
>
> •They dressed all the forwards in one colour
> •They didn’t run lines
> •They kept the skate to 15 minutes — at which point, Matthews left

Bobby McMann also skated with the team.

### The Game

I don't care about franchise records, they're not relevant to today. Play the game today, the game in front of you, don't look back, either in anger or in shame. Just play this one game like it is the only game. Because it is.

### For The Record

I've got nothing here today. See above, there is no certainty about who will play and anyone who says otherwise is farming you for attention. I didn't even look to see if Joe Woll was confirmed because some things really are obvious.
