Ah, the Sharks. Is there another team in sports with a name so inappropriate? 

They are the worst team in the NHL, but are they bad at everything? Almost! They are very bad at puck possession and quality of shots for and against. They have a very poor shooting percentage, but their goaltending is sometimes okay. They have two low-to-medium quality backups and no starter based on this year's performance.

The Leafs sent Marshall Rifai back to the AHL and recalled Dakota Mermis instead as the healthy extra on the coming road trip. Alex Steeves is also back with the Marlies.

Calle Järnkrok makes his debut, per Saturday's statements from Craig Berube. In practice before Pittsburgh, he was the 3C, but Max Domi was not at that practice, however, the Leafs need to see Järnkrok at centre, so I'm assuming Domi moves to wing. 

Ryan Reaves is the odd man out today.

This is showcase time for the Sharks players. They're in the media spotlight, and if they want off the Titantic, now is the time to prove how well they swim. Hmmm. Not sure about that metaphor. Likely should be a Jaws theme. 

Anyway, maybe this one time, Leafs, play a puck possession game? Just to make us all feel a little better.
