Shame about the second, though. With two minutes left and the next empty, the Leafs had some jump in their game, but they couldn't get a good scoring chance. Leafs called a timeout to rest the 6on5 crew. The timeout really didn't magically energize anyone. Marner saved an ENG, but that's as good as it got. Final score was 3-2 Florida, and the Leafs let that opportunity get away from them. Next game is Saturday against Ottawa.
