# Rivalries Don't Die

With one regulation win in their past nine attempts it's understandable that the Montreal media wants to downplay games against Toronto.

Shocker: fans of a team that gets thoroughly outplayed found the game unexciting. I'll give the Gazette credit for the Rodney Dangerfield joke though. We'll be here all week; try the veal.

Personally I enjoyed [Clarke MacArthur](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55209/clarke-macarthur?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) blowing a fuse and going off on [Jaroslav Spacek](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55206/jaroslav-spacek?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) like Ralphie in the Christmas Story:

We could say that [Scott Gomez](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54194/scott-gomez?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) and [P.K. Subban](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71720/p-k-subban?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) have been spending an awful lot of time in the press box lately. Although in his defense Subban played against Toronto to show us all of his poise and excellent play.

Oh right. Honestly going -3 in a 3-1 loss is pretty impressive. I'm guessing [Brett Lebda](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55731/brett-lebda?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) gave Subban some crucial pointers before the puck dropped.

"I think that I can skate with some pretty fast players out there," Subban suggested, "but when they're going a million miles an hour and my feet are in cement, you know it's not going to help me.
