# S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!

The Leafs opened their season on Thursday with a big win over division rival Montreal. It was the first home opener win since 2000\. One game isn't enough though. The Leafs opened the 2008-09 season with a win over defending Stanley Cup champs Detroit, only to lose five straight and finish October 4-7\. I demand better. The Buds need to come out strong against a weakened [Ottawa Senators](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/ottawa-senators?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) squad, who will be missing their top offensive player. Expect [Phil Kessel](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54905/phil-kessel?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), known Sens killer, to see a lot of ice time. Oh, and Orr - Carkner V...duh.
