We start in the NHL where the Dallas Stars had an all-Finnish starting lineup. Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell, Mikael Granlund, Mikko Rantanen, and Roope Hintz.

The Oilers ended up shutting out the Stars 3-0 to even the WCF at one apiece.

Over in the Memorial Cup, the Medicine Hat Tigers beat the host city Rimouski Oceanic 5-4 in the opening game of the round robin.

The London Knights and Easton Cowan are playing tonight at 6pm against the Moncton Wildcats, and again on Sunday against host Rimouski. They'll get a break on Monday before they play Medicine Hat on Tuesday.
