Kristen Campbell stopped all 23 shots she faced, including six from Laura Stacey. Hannah Miller got the game-winning goal, while Rebecca Leslie finally scored her first goal of the season on her 27th shot. Olivia Knowles got her first PWHL point on Leslie's insurance marker. Emma Maltais buried the empty netter in the third to seal the game after Marie-Philip Poulin chased down Sarah Nurse to push her empty net attempt just wide. The biggest news we saw in the East was Tampa Bay getting Matt Dumba to replace the super-injured Mikhail Sergachev, and Anthony Duclair up front also on the cheap. Boston got Andrew Peeke from CBJ as a depth RD. And Florida got Kyle Okposo from Buffalo, Tarasenko from Ottawa, and goalie Magnus Hellberg from Pittsburgh. None of these players were had for more than a third round pick, as were Toronto's acquisitions. Among the trades of the day were the Leafs getting defensive 4C Connor Dewar. Ovchinnikov's team in the KHL is trying to court him back overseas and he's been a healthy scratch in that process.
