The [Toronto Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) might have played a tighter game in Florida, but It's a game against the [Carolina Hurricanes](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/carolina-hurricanes?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) that they have to look forward to tonight, and they need to pick up points in these games against bottom-rung teams. Currently, the Leafs sit in [7th place, but are only one point out of 9th, and two points out of 10th](http://www.nhl.com/ice/standings.htm?season=20112012&type=CON&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com).

With a [PDO last week](http://www.arcticicehockey.com/2011/12/27/2663165/weekly-fenwick-power-rankings?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) of 1018 (3rd highest in the league) and a Close-Game Fenwick of 48.32 (22nd), this team looks to be headed in the wrong direction. Let's hope that this road trip turns things around.
