Also last night, the Lightning, who lost in a shootout to Buffalo, clinched a playoff spot when the Rangers lost. The Panthers clinched their spot when the Leafs beat the Blue Jackets. You're welcome, Panthers.

Montréal won their game, and I thought the "race" was over before last night. It's really over now. They're in the playoffs.

The Kings may also have clinched a spot, but that happened late.

> #Leafs prospect Victor Johansson's season is over, falling 4-3 in the final game of their semi final series. Johansson had a primary assist during their comeback attempt, was +1 and had three shots on net. He finished the playoffs with 5 points in 6 playoff games.

Johansson's next job is to get himself ready to make a case for a move up to the men's team next season. At the very least, he needs to make it hard for them to send him back to junior.

The Marlies got beat last night in a shootout. They're making things interesting for themselves in terms of playoffs.
